    The Blackburn Community Development Project was started in October 2005 by three young friends and neighbours who wanted to walk with a community. It aims to:

1. Create systematic and sustainable programs that will allow the entire community to transform. 
2. To foster collaboration and understanding amongst peoples and move individuals to further explore their potential as agents of change. 
3. Using proven materials our ultimate aim for the folks in Blackburn is to increase ownership in their personal and collective development - improving their lives, neighbourhood, and community.
