About

GeneralSmiley

This site was made by Martin Braithwaite for the viewers of his site (MartinsQuest.com) and camp staff/campers to enjoy. The below terms and conditions are written in a much more stern and legalistic tone than I would normally use but I want to cover my bases and not get 100 e-mails asking me to remove pictures or do this and that. I am here to be of service and help anyone in any way I can, but want to naturally avoid being taken advantage of.

Legal NoticesScales of Justice
This site and the presentation of pictures is a personal initiative undertaken by Martin Braithwaite (above, far left) and is not endorsed or supported directly or indirectly by any institution or agency. All pictures and videos were taken without reasonable expectation of privacy and is displayed on this site ostensibly for the personal, non-commercial use of Martin Braithwaite as a means of showing viewers of his site and beyond his experiences at camp.
The pictures were taken by Andrew, Basim, Martin, and Shahin and permission to post them was granted in explicit, verbal statements. The right to use these pictures for financial gain is prohibited without the express written consent of those pictured and Martin Braithwaite. For personal use these images may be copied and retransmitted, giving credit to 'Image from MartinsQuest.com' where possible. 'Hot-linking' or displaying these images on another site but linking directly to my servers instead of copying and pasting it on another site is tantamount to theft of my limited bandwidth and will be vigorously pursued.

Picture Removal PolicyBad picture of Payam, :)

There are rare occasions where an individual will want a picture removed for a particular reason. I am not inclined to do so in general because of how much time and effort it takes. (For example, to take a picture from the site zip file would take over an hour to re-upload to the server) Therefore, here are the guidelines:

  1. If you knew the picture was being taken the chance of getting it removed is less than 5%.

  2. If it is a group picture with three or more people the chance of me taking it down are about 5%

  3. If it is a portrait or a picture with 2 or less people and you insist, I can remove it from the website (but not the Site Zip File for time and energy reasons mentioned above)

  4. You will need to provide me with the file name of the questionable picture and a convincing argument. (contact info below)

  5. Please think about it seriously before you write to me and ask me to remove a photo--remember that there are over 700 pictures on this site and no one will care or even notice if your hair is messed up in say picture #529.
